Seems it's been over a year since I sent out any signs of life (although I've written a ton of poetry). That's a good thing, right? Well, yes and no. Spending last winter in the southern U.S., participating in Wintergreen's Lorna Crozier poetry retreat (again) and a summer in lake country has lent itself to production.
            Having a writing partner to bounce freshly-hatched material off has helped immensely and I highly recommend it. She and I also conducted a self-study of the First Livingroom Series module of California poet, Ellen Bass. Much stretching, tinkering and ripping/shredding was involved. But (since I also submit poetry around the world very regularly) much publication has also taken place. Sweden. Liverpool, U.K. California x 2. The Hudson Valley. Right here in Canada!
            Now it's coming on holiday shopping time, so here's a thought...how about poetry? Oh, and happy writing to all you scribblers!
